Or rather, morning has broken.  The idyllic setting of Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine in Sardón de Duero (near Valladolid), Castile y LeonSpain), turns every sunrise into something special.  This is the view from Room 202 of this historic wine Estate on 17th October 2012 as day breaks.

Covering some 700 hectares of prime vineyards and farmlands, the medieval estate dating back to 1146, now known as Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine, is the first property in Spain to have hotel-wide butler service.  Rooms start at just euros 290 per night, inclusive of tax and breakfast with discretionary service.

The Estate is around a two hour drive from Madrid (direct flights from London Heathrow Airport with British Airways) or around 45 minutes from Valladolid  Airport (direct flights from London Stansted with Ryanair).
